It seems that no one can escape the January blues at the moment, so we thought we’d try to make the second half of the dreariest month a bit more exciting.
We want you to nominate a celebrity or someone in the public eye you think deserves – or needs – some flowers delivered.
It’s just for fun, but you’ll get the chance to win a fabulous Spring Hand-Tied bouquet for yourself or a loved one! We’ll be awarding flowers to those of you who give us our favourite nominations each day for the rest of January.
Perhaps your nomination could be based on a politician’s recent faux pas or maybe you’ve seen a less than flattering photo of a celebrity splashed all over the media. Remember, the nominations are just a bit of fun so keep it light-hearted!
How to enter
You can either post your nomination as a comment at the bottom of this post, along with the reason why you are nominating that person. Or you can follow us on Twitter – we are @InterfloraUK – and tweet your nomination using the hashtag #Interflora. That way we can keep an eye on all your entries!
We can’t wait to see who you nominate.

I think Kerry katona deserves a boquet after her fabulous transformation over the past 12 months. Even through all the difficulties she’s been through and overcome in the past year she always manages to make sure her 4 children are her top priority. And keeps the smile on her face even though her insides must be crumbling. She’s a star!! Xx
Poor old Alex Reid could do with some cheering up, but I think it would have to be a very big bunch of your lovely flowers, silly boy that he is x
I would send a bouquet to Alex Reid for being used and manipulated by Jordan and then tossed aside, lied about, ridiculed and humiliated. I don’t particularly like the guy but deserves a treat to cheer him up after being yet another in the long line of men to be chewed up and spit out by the likes of her!
the queen as older people need it just as much but nobody takes it into consideration.
“Jean” who plays Eastenders “Staceys mum” could do with a lovely bouquet, as an actor she has such difficult emotional parts to play, which can’t be easy. If I was to send some flowers it would definately be to her. It must be very draining to play such solomn parts. Well done Jean!
Colin Firth because although I love him to bits that hair do in The Kings Speech left me speechless!
I think Kate Middleton & Prince William should receive a Bouquet, as she has shown us that the Royal Family are human and Prince William has his mother’s good qualities, so he will make a brill husband
I nominate Lily Allen, she has really had a tough year and now with her engagement has something to focus on and celebrate. Nothing will take away her loss and the memory will always be treasured with love but hopefully some flowers might bring a smile.
Ruth Langsford for having to work with Eamon on Fridays edition of This Morning. Can you imagine having to work with your husband.
Gordon Ramsey. For highlighting negative aspects of the worldwide fishing industry . bravo gord-youre fearless!
I’d like to nominate Alan Johnson because he’s having a really bad week!
Well you have to feel sorry for Alex Reid, a lovely interflora bouquet may be just what he needs, especially if you are able to match the colour to his
handsports bag.alex reid
Anne Widdecombe! as if she has’nt been through enough!, poor Anne now has to dance with Craig Revelle Horwood every night!, she deserves some flowers!
I would nominate Kara Tointon not only for winning Strictly Come Dancing, but because she was prepared to make a programme about her dyslexia which will undoubtedly increase public knowledge and tolerance for people with the problem.
I nominate Gordon Ramsay, but hopefully he isn’t allergic to flowers as well as (allegedly) horses otherwise he might need his head bandaged again !!
I think Alex Reid needs a bunch of flowers, for being chewed up & spat out by Katie Price!
I think Justin Fletcher aka Mr Tumble deserves a bunch of flowers, he does so much for diabled children, my two boys are not disabled but the love watching him on tv and they have both picked up bits of sign language from him. Also its one of the few times they both sit quietly! as soon as he appears on the tv they sit up and pay attention, i only wish they payed as much attention to me!

Afshan Azad for being a brave and beautiful young woman for standing up to her racist brother after he attacked her for talking to her Hindu boyfriend
I would like to send some Interflora flowers to the comedienne Sarah Millican, because she just cracks me up. She has a very self deprecating manner that is totally endearing. Coming from the macho world of the South Shields, I bet she hasn’t been sent any flowers for a good while and I bet she would get a laugh out of it too!
I would nominate Kat Slater from Eastenders, giver her baby back BBC!!

Emma Bunton to congratulate her on finally getting engaged. 11 years is a long time to wait and I know that feeling.
I’d nominate Emma Bunton on announcing her engagement
I think Emma Bunton deserves a nice bouquet to celebrate her engagement and nothing better when your pregnant to receive some flowers
Joanne Yeates mum to let her know that we are all thinking about her and hope to God they have the right man
Miranda Hart because she makes so many of us laugh with her brilliant comedy – it cheers us up and boosts our immune system so she is probably saving the cash-strapped NHS a lot of money!

A bunch of Rhododendron to Amir Khan with a note saying, ‘Beware the man eater’
Katie Price because she needs to learn to love herself and not jump at the next chance of a Pete replacement.
Vanessa Feltz coz of her weight loss x
I think Colin Firth, his outstanding performance in The King’s Speech was out of this world. It would be so great if he had these as a small token of the affection he has from the public for being him. (would love to have him as a valentine )
Sian Massey for putting up with the jokes about woman and football
Anyone who has got their face posted in Hello magazine, i’m sure they don’t enjoy it and could just do with a cheer up!
I think Sian Massey the football assistant who probably did not want to be a celebrity or on front pages pf the papers!!
Elton John coz every new Mum Deserves Flowers ! LOL !
I think Sian Massey shoud receive the bouquet after the sexist remarks made about her by Andy Gray, or maybe he should get them as he probably needs cheering up after getting sacked.
I think Megan Fox needs a bunch to cheer her up as she was nominated as Worst Actress at this years 31st Annual Razzie Awards. She deserves to be though.
Jamie Oliver deserves a bouquet for helping to make so many people understand that eating good, nutritious food doesn’t have to be difficult.
I’d like to nominate Matt Willis, as he’s away from his wife and one-year daughter for two months, whilst he tours with Footloose. I know he’ll be missing them massively.
I think Andy Grays wife should have one for putting up with him this week
Gino De Campo for cooking naked today hopefully with This Morning winning a tv award
Sian Massey the lineswoman who suffered sexist remarks and was pulled out of a game she was due to officiate after Andy Gray was sacked. All because there may have been some unpleasantness. Why can’t she just get on with something that she is very well qualified to do?
I nominate Javier Barden on becoming a Father and Oscar nominee all in one day! No rest for the wicked!
I think Gino D’Acampo deserves a bouquet for cooking naked on This Morning!
I think today’s bouquet should goto Bruce Forsyth. Love him or loathe him, you have to admire his drive and energy – and working in a medium where ageism is all too common.
I think the wonderful Dame Judi Dench deserves a bouquet for receiving her Dorchester Outstanding Achievement award this month, plus for bring such a role model for the mature lady and how to grow old gracefully.

The wives of Scottish soldiers serving in Afghanistan have taken part in a half marathon relay on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh on 29 Jan 2011
The run was held to raise funds for injured soldiers and their families who serve with The Royal Highland Fusiliers, 2nd Battalion, The Royal Regiment of Scotland.
Where do you start, do you give a bouquet to the wives, the injured soldiers or their families? They are all so amazing
Michael Douglas for beating cancer and being such a fighter x
I nominate Stephen Fry because he’s been travelling all over the place the last few weeks – now on his way to the Far East and after getting stuck in the Blackwall Tunnel on his way to the NTA he then had (in his words) a poorly tummy all the next day. So I think he needs some cheering up.
I nominate the bride from My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding for managing to drag that 20 stone wedding dress down the isle – it will have to be a very large pink bouquet, compete with fairy lights and flapping butterflies!

Victoria Beckham to put a smile on her face
Lily Allen, she’s been through such a awful time, I’d love to send her flowers.

For all the charity and and the love that she gives to all the most unfortunate children!
She’s is my top girl!
Elton John and David Furnish. They love cut flowers and send each other bouquets each week. With their recent delivery from the stork they aren’t likley to have time to send any any more, and surely need some to disguise the smell of all those nappies!
I nominate Danni Minogue as she has had a baby in the last few months and manages to look lovely classy and never gets in to a slagging match with anyone Areal lady
I think that Rebecca Ferguson from teh xfactor should them, a tremondous voice, came second but has had NO publicity!!
