
With Mother’s Day 2010 just around the corner I decided to search high and low and here is my list of the web’s top ‘Mum Blogs….
Is there a better place to get parenting advice from than a ‘Mum blog’ where you can discuss and see the everyday experiences of other parents?
There’s no better way to learn than through experience!
This site chronicles the day to day life of Melinda Roberts, everyday mum and also writer of ‘Mommy Confidential: Adventures from the Wonderbelly of Motherhood’. The writing is incredibly witty and humorous whilst tackling issues both good and bad alongside the everyday challenges of motherhood.
This is an amazing little blog from a Jewish mum who is also a talented writer, feminist and researcher. As well as great advice the humour is side splitting at times.
Set up by her husband as a birthday present, this mum has really run with it. Regular updates on the challenges of life and motherhood make this a great read.
Daily updates on the writer Tracey’s mind flashes and thoughts on parenthood.
A great blog written by a 39-year-old working mum with 2 young girls. As you can imagine, there’s regular updates on coping with work, parenthood and generally trying to stay sane.
Written by a 29-year-old mum with an 18-month-old baby girl, a sociology degree and a career working with at risk families to advise them on parenthood. A really engrossing read covering many angles of life as a parent.
The blog of a South African mum with twins, it’s definitely worth checking out her day to day adventures.
