Personalise your cupcakes for National Cupcake Week

by Charlotte.Barnes on September 14, 2010

This week is National Cupcake Week and we thought we’d let you know about the delicious cupcakes from Interflora.

And if you find yourself salivating at the mere sight of the pictures below, then you’re in luck because we’ve got three boxes of these cupcakes to give away…

Our Personalised Cupcakes make a fantastic gift for a loved one. You can let us know what you want the message to say, so they’re perfect for brightening someone’s day with a yummy personal touch.

Or, if you want a treat for the person you love, then our Personalised Love Heart Cupcakes allow you to tell them just how you’re feeling.

To enter our cupcake competition, simply tell us which sort of cupcake box you’d like to win, along with the personalised message you’d like on them and the reason why.

But keep it short – you’ve got 50 characters for the Personalised Cupcakes and 30 characters for the Personalised Love Heart Cupcakes. Of course your reasoning behind the message can be a bit longer.

Your message and reason could be heart-warming, meaningful or funny. But be creative to be in with a chance of winning. You have until 2pm on Friday September 17th to post a comment with your entry below. After then we’ll choose the best three answers and announce the winners on Monday 20th September.

We’ll then send you your chosen cupcakes with your personalised message.

Terms and Conditions

You may only enter once and any entries submitted after 2pm on Friday 17th September will not be counted. After then the three winners will be chosen. Each will receive one box of their chosen cupcakes with their message, which can be delivered to any UK mainland address. Rude or offensive entries will not be counted. This competition is not open to Interflora employees.

You can get our blog posts delivered for free by email - simply add your email address to the box below or alternatively grab the RSS feed.

Happy 40th birthday Joe x Would be my message.

The reason is, My husbands birthday is December 31st. He has never had a birthday party, not even as a child. His birthday was always, & still is completely overshadowed by New Years Eve, and peoples plans involving that. He has always said that his is the only birthday that people cheer to see the end of.
I would love to arrange a party for him for this special big birthday, I just don’t know if it is going to work out. Hiring a room is out on New Years Eve. His family live in Sussex, we are in Manchester, so the logistics are crazy.
These cupcakes would be ideal for the childrens party theme I have for him, even if it ends up just being in our front room with a few guests!

I’d like the personalised ones. I’d want them to say ‘ Fat Free 😉 ‘
but with the little winking smiley face uderneath the Fat Free This is because everyone in my office loves sweets and cakes, but they always say “oh I’m on a diet” or “I’m trying to be good”. I always tell people, “Oh don’t worry, they’re fat free!” Most people say oh, really! And get really excited, they almost believe me and then I have tell them they’re not really, but most people have already decided that they were going to eat one, so they just go ahead and enjoy the sweets or cake. By putting the little winking smilely face n the cupcake people should figure out they’re not actually fat free, but that they shoudl just enjoy themselves and eat a cupcake!

Love Heart Cupcakes please.
Personalised message to say Happy 40th Anniversary.

We are approaching our 40th Wedding anniversary; we’ve seen the birth of our two children, watched them grow up and have their own children. Now retired, we’re enjoying relaxing and time for ourselves. An amazing journey!

I would like ‘Go Lions!! Raaaaaa!’ written on the cupcakes for my 6 year old son, he has been back at school a week in his new class called Lions, and he could take these in to share with his classmates. I might have to test just the one though… 😉

Chocolate cupcakes for my grandson Liam.
He has just sat his 11+ and was very nervous. He loves cakes and loves chocolate so to get a package with his favourite things in would be a real treat and would make his day. The message I would put on would be pure and simple “ENJOY!”

I would love to send Love Heart Cupcakes with the message “thinking of you love Rhys x”. I’m in the middle of a blossoming romance; 1 month and accounting and am firmly in the loved up honeymoon period of the relationship. I would love to send her something to let her know how I feel and for her to know that I’m thinking of her. She suffers really bad hay fever and so flowers are out of the question, cup cakes would be a sweet and delisious way to let her know how much I care.

Many thanks.

I would like the love cupcakes please, with this message “Thank You Squizzle” This is my fiance’s pet name. I had a baby 7 months ago, and have suffered with post natal depression but I can say I’m much better now, and what better way to say thank you to my rock? 🙂

Elizabeth Burton 15 Sep 2010 at 3:44 pm

I’d choose the love heart cakes. My message would be :

I love you big.

These would be from my daughter and she can give them out to her Granny & Papa (who’ve been away on hols and she’s missed them loads), her nana & grandad and her aunts and uncles. Hopefully she’d save one for her mummy and Daddy too!

Personalised Cupcakes

Message: A pirates life for me….

I’d like these for my work collegues. The small company I work for has been having some problems and not because of the recession. Yet, everyone plods on and gets on with their job trying to do their bit. I think these would cheer them all up! PS. I’m always singing the above phrase 🙂

I would love to have some cupcakes personalised with the words ‘stay strong’. I would give them to my friend T who is going through an absolute nightmare at the moment with a cancerous tumour that is taking its toll. She’s overcome so much and is incredibly brave but I’d just like to take her mind off life as she knows it for 5 minutes and make her smile with a personalised cupcake 🙂

Matt 16 Sep 2010 at 1:48 am

I’d go for the personalised cupcakes. And my message would be a simple but cheeky ‘Yummy Mummy’. My wife recently gave birth to our son, so she’s a mummy and both she and the cupcakes are yummy 😉 I think she’d like that!

Sara Mirza 16 Sep 2010 at 2:18 am

Personalised cupcakes for my family with the message: ‘You don’t deserve me but it means less calories for Sara…so enjoy’
as my family does drive me nuts sometimes, but it would still be nice to share a sweet treat.

Cheryl C 16 Sep 2010 at 2:13 pm
