Interflora Flower School: Summer Garden Party

How to make a flower arrangement Wow, what a day we had at Interflora Flower School last Wednesday!

Our Summer Garden Party class was well attended by flower enthusiasts across the country, all keen to learn new skills, discover insider tips and bring themselves up to date with the latest trends and techniques.

The class was led by revered Interflora florists, David Ragg and David Denyer – the design duo behind our 2012 award-winning RHS Chelsea Flower Show exhibit.

Flower Arranging Demonstration David and David demonstrated two sensational designs, which incorporated beautiful summer flowers and fresh, seasonal foliage. The Flower School students then had a go at recreating the pieces for themselves. With a little personal tuition from our experts, all our attendees left with a superb floral masterpiece they could be proud of.

Jacqui Schlanders from Lincolnshire was one of our lucky Flower School competition winners and said: “My friend and I had a fantastic time – we learned a lot and were thrilled with our efforts! The two tutors were excellent at giving us gentle guidance and advice and made sure we all had a memorable time. It was a really special experience.”

All our Flower School classes are held at Chandos House, a beautiful Georgian townhouse in the heart of London’s West End. It really is an inspiring setting for such an event.
