interflora-blogger-networkWith so many talented Interflora florists up and down the country, we thought it was about time we launched our own network of expert bloggers; giving you an insight into the every day life of a working florist on the high street and our florists an additional stage on which to showcase their amazing creativity and expertise.

Our expert florist blogs are a brilliant way to indulge your love of flowers, take a look behind the scenes of the industry and learn something new. Take a look at our latest recruits…

Morgan Nuth

Morgan is the face behind The London Florist Blog and has worked in the floristry industry for nearly twenty years. Born in the UK with Dutch ancestry, Morgan studied floristry in Australia and Japan before returning to London to open his multi-award winning florist shops in the capital. Morgan enjoys a reputation of being one of London’s most creative floral stylists and his work is often requested by London’s television and film as well as the odd celebrity client. For the past three years Morgan has supported Interflora in creating their medal-winning exhibits at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. Follow his blog for an insight into the glamourous side of the industry.

Jenny Murphy

Former Interflora Irish Florist of the Year, Jenny Murphy went on to be named the RHS Chelsea Florist of the Year in 2012. Jenny scooped the coveted title after her stunning floral chandelier design was named Best in Show at the prestigious horticultural show. When not competing Jenny can be found in her flower shop, Flowers by Moira, in Dunshaughlin where she particularly enjoys designing arrangements for weddings and corporate events. Over the past 25 years, Jenny has catered for a whole manner of occasions and events (including a Royal visit!) and The Daily Florist is her account of the day to day life of a florist in Ireland.

Su Whale and Joy Gill

Confessions of a Florist follows the working life of two Interflora florists in Birmingham. Su and Joy work at The Flower Centre in the city’s bustling centre and their blog gives an insight into the life of a twenty-first century florist on the great British high street. You may already be familiar with Su’s writing as she has guest blogged for Interflora on many occasions and also regularly contributes to our Mercury magazine. Read Confessions of a Florist to brush up on your flower knowledge, learn helpful hints and tips and to stay in the know about all the season’s latest trends.
