Harrogate Autumn Flower Show

by Stefania Del Zotto on September 6, 2011

The 2011 Harrogate Autumn Flower Show, which will celebrate a century of showcasing this year, takes place on the 16-18 September at the Great Yorkshire Showground.

This show is the ideal place to find inspiration for the new growing year. Spectacular floral displays await visitors to the Specialist Societies marquee, where a wonderful array of colours and aromas combine to create a memorable experience.

Leading nurseries across the country give expert advice on what to plant in your own garden, while Kitchen Garden Live is available for top tips on growing fruit and vegetables.  With more than 60 craft and gift stands there is also an early opportunity for Christmas shopping!

A Garden Border Competition has been launched inviting garden designers, landscapers, colleges and other horticultural organisations to create and build the perfect border display.

New for 2011 is a series of classes for giant vegetables such as mammoth marrows, tremendous tomatoes and colossal cucumbers!
The show is open 9.30am – 5.30pm Fri/Sat/Sunday.

Sun £13.00
