gemma tempest 07 Mar 2012 at 2:05 pm

Not going to write a sob story…..just a quick message to say how grateful I am to my mam and this would just be a small token of my appreciation to her.

Fran Saunders 07 Mar 2012 at 2:06 pm

My stepmum is so lovely, when my Mum died she became part of my desolate Father’s life, and turned him around and made him so happy. They had 10 years together, before he passed away. She is always so lovely to me and my kids, I don’t get to see her a lot as she lives on the Isle of Wight and I’m up here in Gloucestershire, and on Disability Benefit so money is tight. One of her sons has Huntingdon’s desease and lives in Canada, he came over to see her for a week last month…she hadn’t seen him in several years, another recovering from cancer, she’s now 89, has had a pacemaker put in and can only get about with a wheeled zimmer frame. My whole family love her and would be so happy if she could receive something like this so we can say “Happy Mother’s day” with style and deep love and thanks.

my daughter is just 21, she has got a 9 month old baby boy jamie, shauna has changed compleatly, she has changed in every way, she is now kind and thoughtful, i could not wish for a better daughter, she puts her boy first, before everything she needs, thisis something i never would of said she would do,she was very headstrong as a teenager, and of course knew everything, we would never have been able to have a conversation, she would never ever agree, since jamie has come she agrees what a pain she was, and she says if it was her, she would of done murder, shauna would love this fingers crossed, kind regards yvonne her very proud mum.

My mother deserves to be treated as she had 8 children in 12 years, has 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren with twins due in the summer. My dad passed away 18 months ago and she still baby sits at the drop of a hat and adores each and every one of her offspring. Still she has time to help with the elderly people who live around her giving them cups of tea and a shoulder to cry on.

She really is one in a million

would a lovely prize, would love it for my mum

Carrie Nugent 10 Mar 2012 at 12:35 pm

I would love to win this for…guess who? Actually my dad!
He has been my dad, my ‘mum’ (mine left when I was very young), my best friend, all throughout my life. He gets spoilt rotten every mothers and fathers day from me, but this would be something extra special! I am so proud to call him ‘mum’! P.s. He LOVES flowers!

I’d love to win and that’s no lies
because my mom deserves this prize
She’s always there to help me out
That she loves me there’s no doubt,
Times have been hard and lots of heartache
So now I think she deserves a break
From livng a life that’s full of trials
I’d like to give her a day of smiles.

I would love to win this for my mum, ever since my dad died she has been both mum and dad to me and my sister and is a wonderful nanny to my daughter. Also when I got married last year she scrimped and saved and paid for most of it. I love her more than anything in the world but I never have enough money to buy her anything! Good luck to everyone! xx

Unfortunately my mum is no longer with us, but I would like this for my daughter. She has 3 children all with problems, 2 with epilepsy and 1 with behaviour issues. She really needs a treat as she has had 4 horrible years
