The Breast Cancer Care Pink Ribbon Walk 2011 is here!

by Charlotte.Barnes on April 21, 2011

The most uplifting event of the summer is back! The Pink Ribbonwalk 2011 sponsored by Santander in association with woman&home is open for registrations. There’s never been a better time for Interflora customers and staff to follow in the footsteps of over 13,800 men and women who have previously taken part and get walking for Breast Cancer Care.

Each walk is set in the grounds of one of the UK’s stunning stately homes, and there is a choice of a 10 or 20 mile circular route through the surrounding countryside. The Pink Ribbonwalk will be coming to:

  • Scone Palace, Perthshire on Saturday 14 May
  • Blenheim Palace, Oxfordshire on Saturday 21 May
  • Cholmondeley Castle, Cheshire on Saturday 4 June
  • Petworth House, West Sussex on Saturday 11 June

“A truly wonderful way to celebrate being three years on from my diagnosis of breast cancer. At times I felt emotional, as I viewed the long pink crocodile of people in the shimmering heat, and realized that we were all walking because of a connection to breast cancer, and that we all had our personal experiences. It was an amazing day and I felt very proud of my achievement.”
