The Apartment at London Fashion Week

by Julia Bradley on September 17, 2013

London Fashion Week is a prestigious fashion event which influences people all over the world. During the course of the week all manner of outfits are showcased not only on the catwalk but around the streets of London.

As you can imagine we were thrilled to be invited along to a related event called The Apartment which was held near the Piazza in Covent Garden. This is the second season we have been privileged enough to be involved in the glamorous event.

It brings brands and creative people together in order to discuss the latest trends and acts as a hangout in between catwalk shows. The Apartment is hosted by fashion blogger Abisola.

Interflora florist Andrea from Rushes Floral Design produced the beautiful arrangements for the occasion. The flowers created a big impression with many fashion bloggers as they tweeted and shared photos on Instagram of the stunning flowers.

The arrangements mainly comprised of Roses, Corylus, Ranunculus, Papavers, Eucalyptus and Hydrangeas. We had several large arrangements dotted around the apartment as well as some exquisite flower pins and combs.

During our time there we were lucky enough to meet up with a few bloggers: Madeleine, Ngoni, Kit and Carmen. They especially loved the flower combs that we provided and a few of them loved them so much they kindly modelled some for us …

Interflora would like to thank Abisola for letting us showcase our flowers at The Apartment and Kris Atomic for the lovely pictures. We would also like to say thanks to Danielle, Van and Ashanti who posted some stunning flower images on Instagram. Finally, we would like to thank Andrea from Rushes Florist for her great designs!

We are already looking forward to next season!
