Interflora florist is the ‘best business in Newark’

Flowers by Suzanne in Newark has been named Business of the Year 2009 in the prestigious Newark Business Awards.

The Interflora florist opened in 2008 and since then has seen rapid growth and success; in the last 12 months alone turnover has more than doubled….

The team at Flowers by Suzanne understands the importance of customer service in generating repeat business and continues to exceed customers’ expectations with great products and exciting designs….

Presenting the award was Nick Hewer, Alan Sugar’s right hand man from BBC TV’s The Apprentice. The award was accepted by Flowers by Suzanne director Mark Hollingworth and business manager Jennifer Clarke. Mark said: “We have a great team of florists who work very hard. We are so proud of them.”

Congratulations to Flowers by Suzanne and their staff. The key ingredient to success in a service business is clearly stated in the above article: “exceed” customer expectations. It’s a refreshing change from companies who believe they are only supposed to “meet” customer expectations! Cheers.
