Through our joint activity we hope to raise £5,550 which will contribute towards the partnership’s aim to raise £5 million to fund CLIC Sargent Specialist Children’s Cancer Nurses across the UK, so children with cancer can spend more time at home and less time in hospital.
To support this venture and to promote Childhood Cancer Awareness month in December, we have specially created the Crimson Sunset vibrant, hand-tied bouquet. It features cerise roses, purple lisianthus, purple spray carnations and cordyline red tops, plus a stylish CLIC Sargent flower pin badge. Purple flowers have been specifically included in the bouquet to tie in with CLIC Sargent’s fuchsia flower logo.
The Crimson Sunset hand tied bouquet and flower pin badge will retail at £27.99, or for £32.95 including a stylish vase. For every bouquet purchased £3.70 will be donated by Tesco (£1.85) and Interflora (£1.85).
The Crimson Sunset bouquet is available to order now. The first delivery date will be Monday 25th October and the last delivery date will be Saturday 18th December.
This offer is exclusively available at www.tescofreshflowers.com and can either be ordered via the website or via phone on 0800 8400 886.
Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer. Treatment usually starts straightaway and can last for up to three years. CLIC Sargent is there with clinical, practical and emotional support every step of the way.
The money raised will help fund specialist children’s cancer nurses. These nurses help children spend as much time at home as possible so they can live as normal a life as possible, by coordinating all the care and support they need when they get there.
Commenting on our involvement our Marketing Director, Michael Barringer says, “We are delighted to be working with Tesco to support CLIC Sargent, their Charity of the Year. The nurses provide a vital service and the funds we raise together will ensure more families across the UK can benefit from having one.”
