Have you picked up the latest copy of BBC Homes and Antiques magazine? If so it’s likely that you’ve seen our beautiful flowers on the front cover.
Packed with real homes, inspirational buys and expert advice, the August issue has so many fantastic tips on how to bring a touch of vintage charm into your home. We love the way they’ve combined fresh flowers with pretty floral fabrics and retro accessories to create attractive focal points for every room in the house.
If you want to recreate the look for your home, ask your local Interflora florist for large headed roses in soft candy colours. Their blousy heads and elegant stems will look just fabulous when informally arranged in a jug or vintage container. Go on, give it a go!
Interflora wins Gold at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2011

Interflora’s breathtaking floral design exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been awarded a Gold medal.
Entitled ‘A Sense of Perspective’, the floral installation, with its unique architectural structure, has been designed by award-winning Interflora florist David Denyer. Nine, seven foot high doorways were adorned with many of thousands of flowers, each radiating a different colour.
With Interflora creating ever more contemporary and stand-out Collections, this design exhibit re-introduced many to the brand and was a showcase of the exceptional skill and creativity of Interflora and its 1800 florists.
Exhibit creator and Interflora florist, David Denyer’s passion for strong design has given him the drive he needed to compete in many competitions, he has already won five Chelsea Gold Medals and four Best in Show. He has most recently won Gold for Interflora at the RHS Autumn Show 2010 and has held the titles of Interflora Florist of the Year and Interflora World Champion.
Bournemouth-based David Denyer comments: “This is a fantastic accolade and is a testimony to the team here at Interflora who provide florists such as myself with the opportunity and platform to demonstrate our real design credentials and floral creativity.”
Rhys Hughes, President of Interflora, added: “Recognition by the RHS Chelsea Flower Show shows that Interflora has real expertise and flair for design; each and every one of our florists around the country can create something truly spectacular.”

Interflora florists make the Independent’s Top 50 List

An independent panel of experts have named the top 50 florists in the country and we’re delighted with the results.
The list, which was revealed in The Independent named 12 Interflora florists as being amongst the best- including David Ragg, the designer of our gold medal winning exhibit at Chelsea Flower Show in 2010.
Interflora florists also highly rated by the judges were; The Tomlinson Flower Company, McQueens, Design Element, Going Dutch, Sarah Horne Flowers, Plantation, Flowers by Maxwell, George Preston, Ruby Flowers, The Black Rose and Margaret Stewart Flower Design.
Commenting on the honour Sarah Horne (left) told us: “This is the second year running that we’ve been recognised and I’m absolutely thrilled. We’ve had such a great response to the article. Many of our customers are calling in to congratulate us- it’s fantastic.”
Of the 12 Interflora florists featured, four will also be competing in Interflora’s own prestigious floristry competitions due to take place in the summer. Neil Whittaker, Sarah Horne and David Gough will be competing for the title of Interflora Florist of the Year, while Karen Sherwin will be competing in the Interflora Florist of the Future competition.

We particularly enjoyed their fantastic feature on Christmas wreaths. We love how the magazine shows the versatility of the traditional wreath and how it can be used indoors as well as out to spread some festive cheer.
