Here at Interflora, we’re always on the look out for new and exciting ways to enjoy flowers. We think we’ve found a beauty in the Salisbury Flower Festival 2011! So if you are not doing anything this weekend why not pop along and see for yourself!
Thousands of gorgeous displays, with many created by local parish groups, will be at the Cathedral, with exhibits ranging from the traditional to the contemporary.
Judge and 2009 Chelsea Gold medallist Michael Bowyer, alongside Pam Lewis and Angela Turner, will also be at the festival, designing the displays for the cathedral. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00am to 5.00pm and then on Sunday from 12pm to 4.00pm, this festival is sure to be a truly memorable event for all the family.
Many months of work have gone into the festival and around 500 groups and organisations have put together wondrous displays for visitors to enjoy. Florists from Salisbury, as well as florists in Wiltshire, have joined forces to turn Salisbury Cathedral into a floral wonderland.
Take a stroll through this impressive building and marvel at the colours and fragrances mixing together at this amazing event. You’ll be dazzled by the splendid displays and are sure to pick up a few inspiring tips along the way. Take a look at their wonderful photo gallery!
