Florist Window competition entries – Update!

deckchairs on a beachUpdate: Due to the fantastic response from our Florist Window competition, we are now extending the deadline to 12 noon on Monday 14th May, so there is still time to submit your seaside inspired entries and to vote for your favourite window!

Voting will continue until 16th May, with the winner being announced later that week.

Listed below you will find the photographs for each entry, including the florist that created them. All you have to do is vote for your favourite by posting a comment below!

The winner will win a pair of tickets to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, plus a hamper worth £100! The runner up will receive a pair of tickets to the show.

They’re all beautiful but my favourite is ‘Bouquets Florist in Newton Abbot’ – their theme is more than a display, it’s like an actual scene (though surreal) that pulls you in. When I saw that I immediately started picturing the seaside and felt a longing to go there.

Ramsbothams Florist in Bletchley – the beach huts remind me of brilliant array of coloured beach huts at Scarborough. It was so hard to chose though and all the shops should be proud of the quality of the innovative displays.

They are all great but I absolutely love Bouquets window. The detail with the shells and all the joys of the seaside. Some very clever touches, the use of flowers on the ‘lady’s’ hat etc. Fantastic

My vote goes to Ramsbothams Florist in Bletchley. I love the effort they have put into constructing those cute little beach huts and it’s not to busy. Plus it appears they have recycled material for use in this display which is always a bonus ! I am also in love with their “Keep calm and carry on weeding” sign. I could really use one of them for my allotments !!

Ramsbothams in Bletchley is my favourite not just because my wife used to live not far from Bletchley and holds a lot of good memories but because the display has really captured the essence of a summer holiday.

For me Ramsbothams an Bletchley is the best. Lovely beach huts and real sand! Oh it does make me want to be beside the seaside :)

The Flower Shack love the deck chair and the flip flops so cool:) it really makes me want to go to the seaside
