Over 200 trade stands will exhibit at the Southport Flower Show this year, from 18th to 21th August. In addition to a greater abundance of flowers you will find an extended food village, celebrity guests, including gardeners and chefs, and even a luxury cinema in a 1960s bus.
“Vintage” is the theme of this year’s show with creative traders, exhibitors and guests taking influence from design classics of the 50′ s,
60′ s and 70′ s.
Flowers, gardening, horticulture and floral arts are the cherished heart of the show. However, over the past few years, the show has also become a more urbane experience that now includes food, leisure and entertainment.
Talks, lectures and cookery presentations are just some of the many activities available at the show. Experts in The Garden Road show will be on hand to answer your questions and the
bandstand has a rich and varied programme of music.
For something unusual, the main arena will bring visitors jousting medieval knights and free flying birds of prey. The drama is balanced by the charm of dog displays featuring dogs of all shapes and sizes.
