Leeds Flower Show

by Stefania Del Zotto on July 23, 2012

The Leeds Flower, Vegetable and Craft Show is back again for 2012 and looks to be even bigger and better than last year.

Held at The Grammar School in Leeds, this amazing show features two halls packed full of stalls, featuring beautiful flowers and plants, delicious fruit and veg and wonderful hand-made crafts.

There are also a number of fantastic competitions to take part in, including floral art displays and a scarecrow-building contest! Radio Leeds gardener Joe Maiden will be presiding over the weekend’s entertainment and all gardeners, from beginners to professionals, are invited to come along and take part.

The show is a great day out for all the family, with fun activities for the children and demonstrations from Northern and Local Societies including the Leeds & District Gardeners Federation Allotments Society, The National Vegetable Society, The West Yorkshire Fuchsia Society, The Yorkshire Rosarians, The Leeds Beekeepers Association and more!
