Rag and Bone Chelsea in Bloom 2013Between Monday 19th and Saturday 24th May, Chelsea in Bloom will transform the streets of London with breath taking floral displays.

The annual competition, which is held in association with the Royal Horticultural Society and takes place during the week of the Chelsea Flower Show, sees the area’s best retailers adorning their shop fronts with creative floral designs to compete for coveted awards.

Last year’s winner, Rag & Bone, set the benchmark high with beautiful window displays and in-store arrangements.

This year’s competition theme is ‘Creation in Colour- a journey through fashion, food and lifestyle’. It’s a theme that’s sure to inspire some of London’s premier retailers including Peter Jones, Cath Kidston, Mary Quant, Hackett and L.K Bennett, who are all taking place in the competition.

The displays will be judged a panel of RHS experts plus a leading lifestyle blogger, Liberty London Girl and the overall winner announced on Wednesday 21st May. There are different awards to be won including ‘Best Floral Display’ and the coveted ‘Cadogan Award for Creative Recognition’.

If you’re visiting the RHS Chelsea Flower Show then a tour of Chelsea in Bloom is highly recommended. Tours take place during the week every 30 minutes from Sloane Square and don’t forget to cast your vote for ‘The People’s Chocie Award’ . See the Chelsea in Bloom website for more details.
