You may remember the competition we ran during the RHS Chelsea Flower Show to win one of the floral doorways that made up part of David Denyer’s “A Sense of Perspective” exhibit.
The exhibit went on to win a Gold Medal at the show. It consisted of nine doorways, each seven feet high, all decorated with different flowers. The idea was that you saw something

This year at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show we’ve seen all sorts of exciting gardens, floral displays and loads of celebrities.
It was a wonderful show and David Denyer’s gold medal win for ‘A Sense of Perspective’ – an exhibit consisting of nine 7-foot doorways, all decorated with different flowers – made it just a little bit sweeter. Read more >>

The webcast featured gold-medal winning designer David Denyer, our gold-medal winning design exhibit ‘A Sense of Perspective’, a live Q&A, guests, competitions, flowers and more, all hosted by our head of floral gifting, Karen Barnes.

David Denyer – the man behind the gold medal-winning ‘Sense of Perspective’ exhibit at this year’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show – has put together a fantastic limited-edition design in honour of the event.
There are only 200 available and they’ll be snapped up quickly because the most exquisite flowers have been used in the design, with its bold colours and striking shape.

Interflora’s breathtaking floral design exhibit at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show has been awarded a Gold medal.
Entitled ‘A Sense of Perspective’, the floral installation, with its unique architectural structure, has been designed by award-winning Interflora florist David Denyer. Nine, seven foot high doorways were adorned with many of thousands of flowers, each radiating a different colour. Read more >>

Press day at Chelsea Flower Show was warm and sunny – but a little bit on the breezy side – which meant a few technical problems for extrovert designer Diamuid Gavin and his ‘Hanging Gardens of Chelsea’.
Huge cranes are not normally a part of the Chelsea skyline, but this was what was required to suspend a 16 metre long planted pod over his ‘Irish Sky Garden’. Fortunately his guests inside the pod had a good head for heights. Read more >>

The world’s most prestigious flower show opens on Monday and while the world waits with baited breath to see the design exhibits and show gardens in all their glory, I went behind the scenes to track the progress of our very own ‘A Sense of Perspective’.
Having never been to Chelsea Flower Show I was excited to find out what all the hype was about. I wasn’t disappointed. Even during this final week of build there is a tangible sense of magic in the air as contractors and exhibitors busy themselves with preening and prepping their designs to perfection. Read more >>
