Curtain falls on a successful RHS Chelsea Flower Show!
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show was one of the most spectacular yet. We had the opportunity to launch new products and there were medals all round for our florists.
We started off the week with the launch of our new Scented Roses collection. Everyone at the event was eagerly coming up to the Interflora stand to smell the four gorgeous new bouquets, which are full of unusual, strong smelling Fairtrade roses.

They’ve been showing off their floristry talents, while taking the audience through each step of their designs.

Flowers, floriography and fabulous parasols
Thursday was the first day for the general public to visit Chelsea and it was busy, busy, busy!
The sun took a little longer to shine, but it came out at last and with temperatures a lot less scorching than they had been at the beginning of the week. It was perfect weather for viewing gardens, admiring new plants and treating yourself to the occasional ice cream. It was also a very good day for our young florists who were busy creating floral parasols.

Diamonds at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Generally it’s the large show gardens at Chelsea which make the headlines, as that is where most of the razzmatazz can be found and where some serious money has been spent.
And although these gardens are indeed impressive, when it comes to cost this year is a little different…

Announcing our Chelsea Florist of the Year
This year seven Interflora florists have been taking part in the RHS Chelsea Flower Show Florist of the Year competition, in association with the British Florist Association.
Each competitor had to design a floral parasol from scratch….

Interflora strikes more Gold!
This has been a fantastic start to Chelsea week by Interflora as we won a Gold Medal! Well done to David Ragg and David Denyer, who designed and executed the most exquisite display on the theme of progression.
It was a reminder that the one thing that always stands out when you visit Chelsea is the perfection of the exhibits, not one creased petal, not one blade of grass pointing in the wrong direction, and that was the level that the two Davids achieved with their work, a gold medal well deserved.

Monday was press day at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, but it’s also the day when celebrities get to take a look at some of the stunning exhibits and gardens on display.

Interflora wins gold at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show
It’s been so busy on the Interflora stand at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and – even though it’s only day two – we have a gold medal win!
