Yesterday afternoon we proudly opened the doors of Interflora Flower School for the very first of our floristry experience days. It’s really important to us that our ranges really create that ‘wow factor’ and we want to let you know all about the fabulous talents of our expert florists.
To help achieve this, we held our annual Press Day in London this month. Taking place in the ultra-modern Future Gallery in London’s Leicester Square, the event was attended by invited journalists from national newspapers and magazines, bloggers and our online partners. Last week saw the WorldSkills global competition come to Britain and we were absolutely delighted to have an Interflora florist, Victoria Richards, representing the UK. After a very intense week of competition, Victoria finished joint 6th out of 18 competitors, our highest result in floristry at WorldSkills, and she also picked up a coveted Medallion of Excellence for her work. Well done Victoria!
Having spent a day at the event, held at the ExCel centre in London Docklands, I can testify that all the floristry contestants, from as far afield as New Zealand, Mexico and China, worked incredibly hard in very testing circumstances. Read more >>

To pass on some of our knowledge as the flower experts we have launched the Interflora Flower School.
Aimed at enthusiasts, the new facility in London’s West End will run a number of classes, all of which will be taught by Interflora florists.
The classes are hands-on and will encourage you to explore all avenues of creativity while receiving support from florists and others in the class. Read more >>

This ruling will enable brand holders across Europe to deliver quality service and ensure that trade marks guarantee the origin of the goods bought by consumers online. Keyword advertising is a very powerful tool and so it is vital for consumer protection that internet search results take consumers immediately to the brands they were

Interflora florist The White Petal Company, based in Edinburgh, has been awarded the Guild of Master Craftsmen’s Quality and Service Award – only the fifth florist in the whole of the UK to receive this prestigious recognition and the first ever florist in Scotland to receive the award.
The status is awarded to companies who “care about their customers and the service they receive”. The Guild always takes references from customers before it will agree to award a certificate of Quality & Service. Read more >>
